The City of Blanchard continues to closely monitor the potential outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease 2019, also known as COVID-19. The City will continue to monitor the situation and adapt policies in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.

The City of Blanchard will be implementing the following:

  • Asking all residents to pay online or use one of our 2 our droboxes.
  • Utilize our website for all city related forms.
  • Senior Nutrition Center will be food delivery only.
  • All City rentals are suspended.
  • All court cases will reconvene in May of 2020. (Check back later for updates)
  • Suspending ALL special events permits.
  • Suspending all Boards & Commissions until further notice.
  • South Park (All Little League Sports) will be closed until further notice.
  • Crystal Lake Walking trail and Lions Park will remain open, with no pavillion rentals.
  • All City Buildings are closed to the public, but will remain staffed.
  • All Emergency services will remain funtioning.

Some tips:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick;
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth;
  • Stay home when you are sick;
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash;
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe; and
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
